Interior Designer

Job Summary As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional indoor spaces. Your expertise will be crucial in transforming interior environments to meet clients' needs and preferences. Responsibilities - Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, requirements, and budget constraints - Develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval - Create detailed drawings, mood boards, and 3D models using software like Adobe, 3ds Max, Sketchup, or CAD - Select appropriate color schemes, furniture, lighting, and materials for each project - Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure designs are executed accurately - Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively - Stay updated on the latest trends in interior design and construction techniques Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field - Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, 3ds Max, Bluebeam, and CAD - Strong knowledge of color theory, space planning, and interior architecture - Experience in project management and working with contractors - Experience with residential and commercial construction - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to interior design Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Experience: • Commercial construction: 1 year (Required) • Residential construction: 1 year (Preferred) • Interior design: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: • Driver's License (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Bellevue, WA 98005: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
