Job Description
What You Will Do
• Leverage your expertise to support all phases of interior project deliverables, from Concept Design through Construction Administration, ensuring a successful design concept.
• Work independently or with minimal oversight on tasks such as programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning, and construction documentation.
• Create mood, material, and design presentations with little to no supervision.
• Develop furniture plans, specifications, material selections, and schedules required for construction documentation independently or with minimal supervision.
• Participate in client and consultant meetings.
• Communicate design ideas effectively through hand sketching and/or digital graphics.
• Apply your knowledge of furniture, technology, custom furniture and lighting solutions, finishes, materials, color selections, and ID specifications.
• Independently create material palettes and inspiration image boards.
• Contribute to design assignments by developing new or improved techniques.
Your Qualifications
• Proven experience in the described role, specifically with workplace fixtures, furniture, and equipment.
• Highly resourceful in sourcing unique materials, furniture, and fixtures.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design from a CIDA or NCARB accredited institution.
• 3-8 years of post-graduate experience.
• High proficiency in Sketch-Up, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Bluebeam. Basic understanding of Revit and Enscape.
• Excellent color sense and a strong passion for design.
• Exceptional graphic design, organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Passionate, self-starting, dedicated, and efficient.
• Enjoys both taking responsibility and collaborating with a team.
• Detailed understanding of FFE design and deliverables.
• Enthusiasm for both big-picture design ideas and intricate details.
• Proficiency in 3D conceptualization, either digitally or by hand.
