Interior Designer

Intermediate Designer (3-6 years Exp) NYC based architecture & interiors firm looking for a full time project Designer (Designer Level II/Intermediate Designer) with 3+ years of experience in commercial workplace to join the team. Successful candidates must have the following experiences and skills: Design Skills: • Sensible design approach towards the specification of materials, finishes, lighting and branding as a general goal of environments • Test-Fit/Space Planning 5,000 to 50,000 SF in corporate interiors and workplace experience in AutoCAD and photoshop. • Understanding of FFE (sourcing, procurement & application) • Renderings (3D Max, SketchUp, V-ray, Rhino or other rendering model software maybe acceptable) • Multi-tasking on projects and deadlines. The candidate will have a great opportunity to work with a dynamic design team lead by the Principal Owner of the firm, alongside a senior design and Director of FFE. This person will be client-facing, with project workload spanning a National and International client base. A Bachelor of Science in Interior Design or equal is required. This is an AutoCAD shop, proficiency in the software as well as Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator are a huge plus. Flexible work schedule, with remote ability 1-2 times per week.
