Interior Designer

The Interior Designer will strive to know and understand the client while delivering a concierge-type experience through the life of the project. They will drive the selection of interior finishes to meet project deadlines and provide options and solutions in line with the client’s goals, budgets, and expectations. The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Collaborate with architectural designers to inform and develop key elements of the project while also troubleshooting potential problems associated with client goals and selections • Meet with architectural designer and client to understand the overall project, goals, timelines, and budgets • Prepare, organize, and lead all client selection meetings • Assist in the request-for-proposal process by preparing and communicating with vendors and suppliers • Develop detail interior design package including the specification of materials, fixtures, and finishes while coordinating with dealers and manufacturers to meet client and project goals • Conduct client presentations and work with external consultants, product representatives, dealers, and fabricators Requirements Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design • Five years minimum experience in interior design and residential remodeling • Excellent organization, communication, and command of office and interior design software Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
