Interior Designer

London Walder Interior Design is a full service residential design firm located in Chicago and is currently seeking a designer. Our focus is directed towards finding the right person with flexibility on level of experience but the preference is between 3 and 5 years of residential experience. The firm is forward thinking, process oriented and focuses on full scope projects that combine modern design with vintage influence creating unique, layered and livable homes. Job Responsibilities: • Project concept development • On site surveys and meetings • AutoCAD and SketchUp drawings • Furniture sourcing • Material selections • Concept board creation • Project installations • Client communication • Project management • Photoshoots and photoshoot preparations • Vendor communication Job Requirements: • Degree in interior design is a must • Experience at a residential interior design firm is preferred • Experience working on residential renovation and new construction projects is preferred • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Keynote, and Pages • Experience using Studio Designer is a plus • Must have a valid drivers license and have access to a vehicle • Must be a self-starter who is organized, detailed oriented and eager to learn Job Type: Full-time Benefits: • Health insurance • Paid time off • Parental leave Schedule: • Monday to Friday Application Question(s): • Do you have access to a car and a valid driver's license?
