Job Title: Interior Designer Job Description Join our dynamic team as an Interior Designer and contribute to the development and documentation of community-based projects. You will be responsible for producing design elements and documentation, directing junior staff in assigned responsibilities, and ensuring project success from conceptualization to construction. Key responsibilities include engaging in various project phases, researching and selecting materials, preparing documentation, and coordinating with construction and procurement teams. Hard Skills • Bachelor's of Science in Interior Design or a relevant degree • 5+ years of experience as an Interior Designer • Proficiency in Revit • Experience in educational or community project management Soft Skills • Ability to delegate tasks to junior staff • Strong coordination and communication skills • Research and analytical skills Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s). Work Site This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Hartford County, Connecticut and some days remote. Work Environment Our firm is a full-service planning, architectural, and interior design firm with a presence nationwide and offices in multiple major cities. Located in a newly renovated office space in the heart of Hartford, our team comprises over 50 professionals, including architects, interior designers, and project managers. We offer a hybrid work model after the initial 90 days, allowing flexibility with 2 days of remote work and 3 days on-site. Our projects span various sectors, including commercial, institutional, gaming, hospitality, and education.
