We are currently seeking a talented interior designer with a... degree in interior design and 3-4 years of experience, based in Orange County. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in furniture design and a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces. Responsibilities • Support to lead designer and manage design projects from concept to completion • Assist with conceptual design development, presentation building, and sourcing new materials and finishes • Research and select materials, products, furniture, and fabrics • Develop design boards, product tear sheets, and furniture decks • Submit all finish and furniture selections for projects to lead designer • Create specification spreadsheets for budget and purchasing; build full project binders for builders • Oversee budgets, purchasing, and delivery for projects • Work on installations, including accessorizing Qualifications • Degree in Interior Design • Proven experience in designing interior spaces (3-4 years) • Excellent portfolio of previous work • Strong design vision with furniture, accessories, fabrics, and lighting • Experience with vendors, trade sources and local design centers • Creative talent, imagination, and eye for design while keeping up with industry trends • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills • Management of budgets and procurement • Experience with project management is a plus • Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced, demanding creative environment • Experience with Interior Design tools like AutoCAD, Chief Architect, DesignFiles • Proficient with Office Suite • Must be based in Orange County, CA Why Join Us? • Be part of an experienced, renowned, and published design team. • Work in a collaborative and supportive workplace that values your contributions. • Enjoy opportunities for professional development and career advancement. • We offer health insurance, a 401(k) plan, and other benefits to ensure your well-being.
