About this role

Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a strong understanding of spatial aesthetics, materials, and color theory. Ideal candidate will also have strong background in designing residential interiors, with focus on the luxury market in NYC. You will work closely with clients to transform their visions into functional and beautiful spaces, ensuring that each project reflects the client's style while also pushing the design boundaries. Responsibilities • Collaborate with clients to determine their needs, preferences, objectives for design projects. • Develop design concepts and present them through mood boards, 2D drawings, elevations, RCP's, and electrical plans. • Utilize design software such as CAD to create detailed plans and layouts. • Conduct site visits to assess spaces and gather measurements for renovation projects. • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely execution of designs. • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions. Skills • Proficiency in CAD. • Excellent budgeting skills to manage project costs efficiently. • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members. • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to promote design ideas persuasively. • Experience in renovating spaces while adhering to client specifications. • Attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality.
