Interior Designer 2-6 Years of Experience (full time)

Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with studio members in development of concept design through completion of construction for multiple projects. • Responsible for management and execution of projects working directly with Principals. • Position is in-office. Essential Skills • Strong design and idea origination skills. • Strong visual communication skills. • Ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings, 3D models, and other documents relating to design and documentation. • Experience in curating material palettes and background in material selections for commercial environments. • Required Software Proficiency: Enscape, Revit, Adobe Suite, and Office Suite. • Furniture Specifications Software: Fohlio or DesignSpec, or similar software is preferred but not required. • Strong organization and interpersonal communication skills. • Experience producing architectural drawing sets. • Experience working in historic renovation, adaptive reuse is preferred but not required. Experience • Bachelor or Master Degree in Interior Design or Architecture. • 2-5 years of professional experience working for a commercial interior design studio. Preferred, but not required licensed or pursuing licensure in Interior Design. • Experience in Commercial Furniture Specification is preferred. • Experience in Interior Design procurement is preferred. • Prior experience in an architectural or interior design firm setting. • Other professional certifications are assets, but not required.
