Interior Designer

PUNCH is an award winning multi-disciplinary Architecture and Interior Design studio with experience in a diverse range of projects all over the country. PUNCH is looking for a multi-faceted and passionate interior designer with strong... experience in design detailing and FF&E to join our team. The ideal individual is detail-oriented, entrepreneurial-spirited, great communicator, and a well-rounded designer. The position entails project design and management in all project phases from concept through installation, including vendor communication and procurement. Experience and interest in custom residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces is preferred. Responsibilities include involvement in all phases of design: • Assist with all facets of interior design from concept through construction administration. • Collaborate with internal team members, consultants, clients, contractors, and vendors for cohesive interior/exterior design projects. • Participate in client presentations and project meetings, preparing presentation materials to communicate these concepts. • Material sourcing, production of mood/sample boards, finishes selection, furniture design, and specifications. • Manage coordination and implementation of interior design concepts on schedule and within budget. • Ability to design detailed elements and draw them with an understanding of how they work. • Site visits and field verification before and during construction. • FF&E procurement, installation drawings and specifications. • Working with internal team to manage budgets, invoicing & proposals, and ordering items. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture • (3-10) years of interior design lead experience in high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality projects • Strong AutoCAD proficiency with knowledge of Revit desirable • 3d experience with Sketch Up, Rhino, Enscape and/or Lumion • Strong presentation skills using 3d software, Adobe Suite, and/or hand sketches • Must be able to demonstrate strong detailing skills and understanding of interior design • Organized in all facets of the job to ensure smooth and timely delivery of projects • Experience in sourcing and specifying Finishes / Materials • Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and strong attention to detail • Professional registration and/or NCIDQ certification preferred This is a full-time position with a competitive salary along with great projects.
