About this role

Position overview: The Interior Designer will be responsible for designing innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing interior environments for a variety of higher education/public sector projects. The Interior Designer will collaborate with key stakeholders to understand project objectives, interpret design directions, and produce creative solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Develop... design concepts for a range of interior environments. • Provide design solutions that are aesthetically pleasing and technically accurate. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives and interpret design directions. • Manage projects from concept to completion. • Create scalable drawings using CAD software such as Revit and Sketchup. • Research and select furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE) that meet project requirements and budget. • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. • Provide guidance and support to junior design staff. Qualifications: • Higher Education Degree in Interior Design or related field. • Excellent knowledge of CAD software such as Revit and Sketchup. • Knowledge of commercial, public sector, and residential design. • Knowledge of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE) selection. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
