Interior Designer

We are a Kitchen, Bath and Flooring design company located in San Marcos. We carry full lines of high end and mid-level kitchen and bath cabinets, as well as counter top, sinks, facets, and more. 7 EXPERIENCE IN INTERIOR DESIGN PREFERRED... • Extensive Product Knowledge: You must have a deep understanding of various materials, styles, and brands related to kitchen cabinets, countertops, hardware, bathroom vanities, and flooring. You must be able to confidently advise customers on product features, benefits, and suitability for their specific needs and preferences. • Design Skills: Candidates must be experienced in interior design using 3D CAD and have a strong eye for aesthetics. You must be capable of creating visually appealing and functional designs tailored to each customer's space and preferences. • Customer Service Excellence: Candidates must be passionate in providing exceptional customer service. You must be friendly, approachable, and attentive to customers' needs, offering personalized recommendations and assistance throughout the sales process. • Sales Experience: Candidates must have a proven track record of success in retail sales, particularly in the home improvement or interior design industry. Experience meeting or exceeding sales targets demonstrates their ability to drive revenue and contribute to the success of the retail business. • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for effectively engaging with potential customers, you should have innate understanding in customer requirements, and conveying product information and design concepts clearly. We are seeking candidates who can articulate ideas and recommendations confidently, both verbally and in writing. • Technical Expertise: Depending on the products being purchased, candidates must have technical knowledge related to installation processes, hardware compatibility, and material characteristics. Recent Prior experience in these areas is advantageous. • Computer Proficiency: The company uses Office 365 and computer-aided design (CAD) program and we prefer a candidate either with CAD experience other programs for creating visual representations of design concepts and room layouts. Candidates should also be comfortable using basic retail software for inventory management and sales processing. • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is crucial when working with design elements and coordinating different products within a space. Candidates should demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in their work to ensure customer satisfaction and project success. • Team Player: We are a small and very busy operation seeking a candidate who can collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience.
