In this position, you can expect to work on a variety of project types and collaborate with other interior designers, architects, and engineers throughout the firm. You will be an integral part of the project design team, supporting both development of interior design and implementation of that vision. In this role you will: • Work with clients to determine initial goals and programming requirements for the space to be designed by analyzing use of space, understanding of client’s business strategy, and implementation of strategic workplace design. • Collaborate with Architectural and Interior Design team to develop the interior design solutions for workplace projects ranging in size and budget. • Prepare plans, sketches, or other visual aids to demonstrate designs to client. • Maintain building Revit plans, including life safety drawings and information, BOMA calculations, current suite layouts. • Research materials and concepts to advise and support design team on technical issues influencing interior design concept development. • RWork within project schedules to prioritize tasks and coordinate the completion of documentation required from initial design phase through final project completion. • Maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors, to build high-performing teams and increase potential business opportunities. • Provide input and staff development through active mentorship. • Exhibit a leadership style and work ethic that demonstrates the highest degree of professionalism, energy, and dedication to the success of HGA; and other duties or responsibilities as assigned You will need to have: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Interior Design/Interior Architecture program or related field • Minimum of 6-10 years of experience • Professional licensure and/or certification preferred • Experience with Workplace, Arts, Culture and Higher Education projects strongly desired • Proficiency in Revit required; Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and other graphic tools desired • Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; Adobe Creative Suite desired. • Collaborate effectively and professionally with multidisciplinary team members. • Strong communication and presentation skills • Excellent listening skills; • Anticipate and respond to client needs • Take initiative, work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while integrating a high degree of attention to detail, organization and deadlines • Available for travel as-needed basis Salary Information: The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA’s robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs. Salary Range: $59,200 - $80,000
