With a focus on sustainable developments and innovative designs, this role will require a talented and dynamic nterior Designer. This firm are well established and are continuing to grow within Western Canada. With a focus in design, planning and architecture, they have built a solid team and a sound reputation. THE JOB The Interior Designer will be assisting the senior designers and Principal Architects in the development of interior focused projects. This role will have you collaborating with a dynamic team and working with clients through the various project phases from concept creation, design, and production, right through to project completion. WHAT'S REQUIRED This candidate will have the following aspects; • Completion of a certified Architecture or Interior Design program in a professionally recognized institution • 5 years' experience working with interiors projects in Canada • Experience working on multi-family residential, senior living, commercial, retail and hospitality projects is preferred • Willingness to source and identify contractors and product specialists for quality interior finishes • Demonstrated ability to prepare and assemble drawing packages for the above-noted construction types, from Design concept, BP, Tender, and to IFC. • Familiarity with municipal approvals processes; • Capable using both Revit and AutoCAD is preferred • Proficiency with Sketch-Up, Photoshop and other programs are an asset • Excellent presentation and communication skills This is a great opportunity for ae Interior Designer to excel in their career and be a part of a dynamic and progressive team.
