Interior Designer

Rockwell Group, an award winning, multi-disciplinary design firm with projects world wide is seeking interior designers with a minimum of 5 years' experience post-graduation and hospitality expereince. Applicants should have a bachelor's degree of Interior Design and possess strong conceptual design, organizational, presentation, and technical expertise. We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer with a strong hospitality background to create unique design solutions, working closely with the Studio Leader and Project Managers. The ideal candidate is passionate about their craft and driven by curiosity. Overview of Responsibilities: Develop and execute appropriate designs for projects under the direction of the Studio Leader/Partner Lead project teams through all design phases, playing an integral role in the concept development. Actively lead design presentations to clients as required and effectively communicate vision, programming, and details Champion a high level of design quality with a keen understanding of the firm's design philosophy Guide interior designers and mentor junior staff. Requirements & Desired Skills: 8+ years of experience with an advanced hospitality portfolio Bachelor's degree or higher of Interior Design Strength in all phases of project work from design to construction Ability to understand the big idea, as well as the tiny details Works well in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and diverse project typologies Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with different personality types Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and narratives through 3D software and/or hand sketching Please submit resume, portfolio and desired salary Employment Type: Full time
