Kimberley Harrison Interiors is a full-service Interior Design firm in downtown Lafayette with projects spanning the entire bay area.
This position requires a candidate that is motivated, able to multitask, communicate well, and be excellent at delegating.

Responsibilities : Collaborate with Principal and design team to manage projects from conception to completionEstimate project hours and meticulously manage budgetsResponsible for meeting or exceeding the financial goals established for projectsDevelop and refine design processesMentor project team membersCreate clear project objectives and oversee executionOrganize project schedules to enforce deadlinesReview and approve architectural designsKeep up to date with codes and standardsAssist with drawings and... renderingsSelect and specify hard finishes, soft finishes a plusUnderstand and anticipate the technical implications of design decisionsFacilitate design and construction meetingsSupervise Interior Design team and lead them to project completionOversee accurate preparation of project construction documents and details ensuring quality control and completionElevate the firm’s relationships, work and styleConduct site inspections to ensure conformance to design specificationsDesign custom cabinetry, built-ins and furniture as neededExpertly manage client satisfaction and internal communication - a must!Have fun with Team KHI!
Requirements : Degree in interior design, interior architecture, or equivalent experience6-8 years of residential design experience3-5 years of project managementHighly skilled in AutoCad and construction drawings - A MUST!Strong Excel, Word and Powerpoint skillsExceptional communication and budget management abilitiesExcellent attention to detail and highly organized - NON negotiable!Team player and have the ability to manage people effectivelyValid driver’s license and insurance with reliable vehicleWiling to work in studio this is not a remote positionHave a positive, friendly, professional attitude and a good sense of humor
Salary : competitive and dependent upon experience
