Interior Designer

StudioMBM is New York City architecture firm seeking a creative, design-driven, motivated and well organized InteriorDesigner. Our current work includes residential, adaptive re-use, renovations, interiors, commercial projects and furniture design. Working with our team in NYC, we are looking for someone who would be responsible for taking a leadership role on multiple projects. This would... include production and coordination with team members, clients and consultants, throughout all phases of the project. The right candidate will have strong design skills and a broad range of experience. Candidate should meet the following criteria: • Interior or Architecture degree from accredited institution • 1-4 years relevant experience • Experience with FF&E, material palettes and samples, and product specs. • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Rhino + Rendering software. Experience in AutoCAD, Studio Designer or Escape is a plus. • Strong Photoshop experience. • Excellent organization skills. Experience with furniture spec books and procurement a plus. • Excellent communication skills, with ability to participate in client meetings. • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced and rigorous environment. • Self-motivated, able to work independently and with team members. • Approach every design and research project with creativity and inquisitiveness. This position is In-Office. Must be able to work in the US.
