Interior Designer

Our Waukesha based Design/Build/Furnish company is seeking an Interior Designer to join our dynamic design studio! Join our team to work on commercial interior projects in our collaborative and motivating environment... Responsibilities  Collaborate on commercial interior design projects with client, sales and architects  Develop design concepts for clients including space planning, furniture, and finish material selections  Present design concepts to clients through verbal and graphic communications  Assist clients with finish material & furniture selections while keeping within budget  Prepare furniture specifications and installation documents for proposed work  Work in tandem with internal team members to provide a clients desired solution in a timely productive manner  Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently  Operate multiple virtual communication and presentation platforms, such as Microsoft Teams Qualifications  Minimum 3 years relevant interior design experience  Knowledge of furniture; finish materials and specifications  Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design  Proficiency in AutoCAD and 2020/CAP Studio  Strong communication skills to present your design concepts and communicate with internal team members  Organized & detail oriented  Proficiency in basic principles of space planning and design  Microsoft Office Suite; including Teams, Word, Excel, Powerpoint  Modular Furniture Systems Experience  Provide portfolio of recent design experience Differentiators  3-D Rendering Capabilities  Experience with CET, REVIT, YULIO  Experience with LIVE Design  Exposure to Blue Beam, Newforma, MRL  Knowledge and application experience with architectural finishes  NCIDQ Certified Compensation  Competitive salary based on experience  Benefits Package Qualified candidates shall submit a cover letter and resume to: BSI Attn: Erin Macejkovic W222 N630 Cheaney Rd Waukesha, WI 53186 Or email: emacejkovic@buildingservice.com
