Interior Designer

We are seeking an Interior Designer to join our Boston office. Candidates must have excellent problem-solving and verbal... presentation skills, as well as higher education or multi-family design experience. Candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to project teams on a broad range of project types and scales, in collaborative work environments. Roles + Responsibilities: • Lead conceptual and schematic phase of Interior Design projects • Participate in all phases of the design and documentation • Generate programming studies, space planning concepts, and conceptual design options • Coordinate with consultants, product reps, and furniture dealers • Present design concepts effectively to Clients • Execute construction documents in Revit • Assist in construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, and site visits Experience + Qualifications: • A professional degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited institution • 5+ years of professional experience in higher education or multi-family design • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills • Strong space planning, 3D design, and finish research skills • Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills • Proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office • Proficiency with SketchUp, InDesign, and Photoshop preferred How to Apply: Please submit a letter of interest, resume, 3 references, and work samples as a single PDF to employment@amentaemma.com with “Interior Designer – Boston” in the subject line.
