Interior Design Studio Librarian

Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Studio Resource Librarian to support our design team and maintain our materials library. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our library remains organized, current, and inspiring, while supporting designers with materials management and vendor coordination. Key Responsibilities • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the materials library • Receive, label, and file incoming samples and materials • Retire and recycle outdated materials to keep the library relevant • Build and maintain relationships with vendor representatives • Order samples and assist with sourcing requests for the design team • Conduct periodic inventories and track sample usage • Provide support for client presentations and internal events as needed Qualifications • Highly organized with strong attention to detail • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Interest in interior design or previous experience in a design studio preferred Why Join MDI At MDI Luxury Design, you’ll be part of a collaborative and creative team that values professionalism, growth, and excellence.
