INTERIOR DESIGN STUDIO ASSISTANT- Blackband Design, Orange County Blackband Design is a full-service, internationally awarded interior design firm led by husband-and-wife duo, Greg and Wendy Blackband. RESPONSIBILITIES : • Must possess a positive attitude. • Answer phones and pass on accurate messages. • Must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills. • Must possess strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. • Maintain organization of fabric library and material samples. • Assist designers with administrative and operational tasks. • Check and restock client goods. • Check in new memos and samples. • Price fabrics. • Organize and update vendor library. • Prepare spaces for presentations. • Accept deliveries. • Receive, unbox, and tag merchandise. • Pack for in-home installations. • Work with suppliers, vendors and reps to schedule drop offs and informational presentations. • Must have a car to run occasional errands. • Interest / background in marketing and social media preferred. Salary: Entry Level Availability: Immediate availability preferred. Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm. Must be flexible to work additional hours when needed.
