Interior Design Specialist

A furniture supplier and office interior design company is seeking an experienced individual to fill a dual role as a Designer and Specification Specialist in their lower Bucks County office. Entry level candidates will be considered with educational background in interior design. Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide drawings and design specifications using AutoCAD, GIZA, CAP and/or CET design software for clientele with respect to interior office design / layout of furniture. • Attend client meetings with Account Executives, gathering information for successful design solutions. Determine scope of work and layout of the space with furniture based on the needs of the client. • Assist with furniture installer dispatch, job set-up, and follow-through. • Select furniture and finishes, prepare drawings, renderings and presentation packages. • Field verify space dimensions and site conditions. • Prepare timely and accurate Bill of Materials and installation drawings. • Consult with general contractors, architects and other consultants as needed. Qualifications / Requirements: • Prior experience using AutoCAD and Google SketchUp and other design software. • Minimum of High School diploma; Associates degree in a design field OR business related field is a plus but not required. • A minimum of 2 years" experience in an office environment. • Prior experience with furniture design/specification software using GIZA, CAP, or CET for providing design and office layout services is a big plus.
