Interior Design Specialist

Job Description Overview... We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced full-time, onsite, Interior Design & Product Specialist to join our team. As an Interior Design & Product Specialist, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross functional teams to drive research and development projects. You will work closely with overseas vendors to manage and actively guide/push product development projects including onboarding new vendors. The successful candidate will oversee our product collection(s) and ensure continuity of brand and collection cohesion. You will also organize and manage our fabric swatch and material library. As a lifestyle furniture brand, it will be important that you possess a keen eye for spotting new market trends and styles that align with the companys aesthetic. Qualifications Education/Experience: bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S) or equivalent from four-year college in business or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience with product management or relevant field. High level of attention to details. Home Furnishing industry experience preferred. Product lifecycle management experience. Adept at problem solving and possess decision-making capabilities. Excellent communications skills (verbal and written). Familiarity with CAD and ability to read product schematics. The ability to hand draw product features or modifications is a plus. Duties Develop and execute strategic plans to drive product adoption and revenue growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and roadmap. Conduct market research to identify customers needs and the competitive landscape. Drive product launches, including pricing strategies, marketing campaigns, and sales enablement materials. Provide product presentations to upper management both by product and collection. Gather sales team and customer feedback and insights to integrate potential product enhancements needs. Utilize CRM tools to input all product details as needed for online sales. Travel requirements will include participation at trade shows as well as overseas factory trips.
