Interior Design Specialist

STUDIO JARI LLC is a Brooklyn-based small creatively driven team working on projects throughout the New York City area. We are seeking a talented part time junior interior designer, interior architectural designer to join our growing team. Responsibilities... . Prepare, update, and correct floor plans, elevation, section drawings, conceptual 3D rendering as well as client presentation packages . Perform site visits and record the detail elements as well as general site conditions and measurements . Organize material library and creating material and color palettes to present clients . Assist the managers with sourcing and product research . Coordinate the project schedule with vendors and contractors . Perform other project duties as assigned by the Manager Qualifications . B.S. or B.A. in Interior Design, or related education and 1-3 years related experience in designing small to mid-size interior projects . Ability to draft kitchen, bathroom and closet designs. . A proficient level of experience in the use of AutoCad, Photoshop, Indesign, SketchUp, Microsoft Word and Excel and Revit is Optional . Fair level of hand sketch case work, rendering interior drawings, and shop drawings . Attention to detail and self motivating skill is required . Resume + Portfolio is required . Strong communication skill including client facing skills . Excellent organization skills are required
