Interior Design Sales Specialist

Position: Interior Design Sales Specialist (full-time/part-time) Interior Design Sales Specialist (full-time/part-time) – Living Spaces Furniture Position Summary: Provide in‑store guest service with Interior Design focus, following the Guest Engagement Model. Handle scheduled design appointments and analyze project requests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Greet and engage guests using the Guest Engagement Model • Determine guests’ goals for their design project • Provide relevant design advice, product knowledge, and recommendations • Present customized room designs with sample fabrics, furniture, etc. • Maintain current knowledge of merchandise lines • Master product knowledge and brand design inspiration • Process customer transactions in the POS system • Complete required training and participate in ongoing learning opportunities • Support store team to achieve revenue targets • Ensure store is “Grand Opening” ready through daily tasks and style guides • Work weekends and most holidays • Adapt to fast‑paced environment Qualifications Education/ Experience: Associate degree in interior design or equivalent. 1–2 years customer service/retail experience, or equivalent education/experience. Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of design software a plus. Certificates and Licenses: Vocational certificate or degree in interior design; must complete Living Spaces certification program. Position Hiring Range & Compensation Pay range: $18.45–$23.95 per hour, based on education, experience, skills, location, and market data. Eligible for team bonus based on KPIs.
