Design Sales Specialist This is a challenging and rewarding sales position that requires a combination of interpersonal, communication, and persuasion skills. Job Overview: The Design Associate role involves driving revenue and customer satisfaction by guiding homeowners through their flooring purchase from consultation to close. As a Design Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for executing in-home consultations that lead to closed deals, following a proven sales process, building rapport with customers, and presenting product solutions that meet their needs and budget. Our company is the leading in-home flooring brand in North America, providing a high-touch, convenient, and personalized experience for our customers. We are looking for a motivated and self-driven individual who can succeed in this fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities: • Drive sales performance by executing in-home consultations and closing deals • Follow a proven sales process to maximize conversions and average ticket size • Build rapport and trust with homeowners during consultations • Present product solutions that meet customer needs and budget • Accurately measure spaces, estimate job costs, and prepare compelling proposals • Follow up with all leads and prospects to move them through the sales pipeline • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals • Coordinate closely with project and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery • Maintain product knowledge across a wide variety of flooring solutions Qualifications: • 2+ years of successful experience in in-home sales, B2C sales, or high-ticket sales • Proven ability to close deals and hit or exceed sales targets • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and persuasion skills • High level of personal accountability and self-motivation • Tech-savvy: comfortable using CRM systems and digital estimating tools • Willingness to travel daily across Spokane, WA and North Idaho • Professional appearance and strong presentation skills • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license Performance Metrics: • Monthly/Quarterly Sales Volume • Close Rate on Leads Provided • Average Ticket Size • Customer Satisfaction Score (Post-Sale NPS or Google Reviews) • Speed to Follow-Up & Proposal Delivery
