Interior Design Sales Consultant

Overview Weinberger's Furniture is a fourth-generation, family-owned business that has been helping customers create beautiful homes since 1932. We're known for quality furniture, thoughtful design, and long-term relationships with our clients. We're growing and looking for a talented Interior Designer / Sales Consultant who loves design and enjoys helping customers bring projects to life. What You 'll Do * Work directly with clients to understand their style, space, and functional needs * Create furniture and design solutions for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, and whole-home projects * Guide customers through product selection including upholstery, case goods, rugs, lighting, and accessories * Prepare quotes, process orders, and manage projects from sale through delivery * Follow up with clients before and after delivery to ensure satisfaction * Build long-term relationships that lead to repeat and referral business What We're Looking For * Background in interior design, furniture sales, or a related field * Strong eye for color, scale, layout, and materials * Confident, friendly communicator who enjoys working with people * Sales-minded professional who is comfortable closing and following up * Organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple projects at once * Comfortable using basic computer systems (POS, email, order entry, etc.) * Weekend availability (retail schedule) Monday-Saturday with a set day off during the week Bonus Points If You Have * Design education or certifications * Experience with custom upholstery or special-order furniture * Familiarity with room planning or space layouts * Existing client base or strong local network Join our team to leverage your creative talents and sales expertise in delivering outstanding interior solutions that transform spaces and exceed client expectations.
