Our team is dedicated to helping guests find their perfect furniture and design solutions. • *Salary Range** The hiring pay range for this position is $19.15 - $24.85 per hour, based on relevant work experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. • *Job Description** As an Interior Design Sales Associate at Living Spaces, you will be responsible for servicing in-store guests with a selling strategy that follows our Guest Engagement Model. You will analyze collected information pertaining to project requests and constraints, and provide relevant design advice, product knowledge, and recommendations to customers. Your primary goal is to create a seamless and personalized shopping experience for every guest. • Determine guests' goals and requirements of their design project • Provide relevant design advice, product knowledge, and product recommendations • Presents customized room designs, including sample fabrics, furniture, tables, and accessory recommendations You will also maintain current knowledge of merchandise lines, product features, benefits, and availability, and master product knowledge and brand design inspiration. Additionally, you will process customer transactions in the Point of Sale system, complete required training, and participate in ongoing learning opportunities. • *Required Skills and Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you should have an associate degree (A.A. or A.S.) or equivalent from a community college or four-year college in interior design, or equivalent combination of education and experience. You should also have 1-2 years of experience in a customer service, retail, or furniture store environment.
