Interior Design Project Manager

Role Overview We are seeking a highly organized, adaptable, and positive Project Manager with an interior design background, and 3-7 years of experience as a project manager to lead the day-to-day execution of residential design projects. This role is central to ensuring an exceptional client experience while keeping projects on schedule, aligned, and running efficiently. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the design process, working closely with the Design Manager to translate creative vision into a well-executed, seamless project. Key Responsibilities Client Experience & Communication Act as the main client liaison, managing communication with clarity, warmth, and professionalismLead client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups with confidence and responsivenessProactively anticipate client needs, questions, and concerns to ensure a smooth experienceMaintain a positive, solutions-oriented tone, even in high-pressure situationsProject Management & Execution Develop, manage, and track project timelines, deliverables, and milestonesCoordinate closely with the Design Manager to ensure alignment between creative direction and executionKeep projects on schedule by identifying risks early and pivoting quickly when neededOversee multiple projects simultaneously without losing attention to detailOperations & Organization Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, notes, and client communicationsEnsure internal team alignment and accountability across all phases of the projectTrack project progress and flag any scope, schedule, or budget concernsContinuously improve systems and workflows to support efficiency and scalabilityQualifications 3–7+ years of experience in interior design, project management, or a related fieldStrong understanding of the residential interior design processExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailHighly adaptable with the ability to pivot quickly in a fast-paced environmentConfident communicator with strong interpersonal and client-facing skillsProactive, positive, and solutions-oriented mindsetExperience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyWhat We’re Looking For Someone who brings energy and positivity to both clients and the internal teamA natural problem solver who stays calm and resourceful under pressureA detail-oriented executor who doesn’t let things slip through the cracksA team player who collaborates closely with design leadership while taking ownership of executionA professional who genuinely cares about delivering an exceptional client experienceWhy This Role Matters This position plays a critical role in shaping the client experience and ensuring the success of every project.
