"> Salary and Benefits "> The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000, depending on qualifications and experience. "> Job Description "> As an Adjunct Associate Professor of Interior Design, you will teach organized classes primarily in the Interior Design discipline(s) under the general supervision of the Dean of Instruction, Arts and Multimedia. Your primary responsibility will be to teach up to 10 units (part-time) in the assigned discipline, utilizing current teaching methods, discipline knowledge, and discipline-specific technologies. "> Required Skills and Qualifications "> To be eligible for this position, you must possess: "> "> • A Bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field and two years of professional experience OR an Associate's degree in interior design or a related field and six years of professional experience;"> • Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students;"> "> Preferred Qualifications "> Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching strategies and techniques to different levels of students' ability and learning styles, as well as experience in teaching postsecondary courses in Interior Design. Additionally, demonstrated leadership in developing curriculum for discipline-specific courses and/or programs, as well as the ability to work with business and industry to coordinate educational programs with community needs.
