About the Opportunity RS&H is currently seeking an Interior Design Associate I in multiple office locations to perform basic interior design assignments. This position requires the application of standard design principles and concepts. Key responsibilities include predesign, schematic design, and design development tasks. • Predesign Tasks: • Assist with programming, concept development, interior finish material selection, furniture, fixtures and equipment selection, and site surveys. Key Responsibilities The ideal candidate will have a degree in interior design or architecture and possess basic knowledge of production software. They must also have solid oral and written communications skills, as well as the ability to effectively interact with and build relationships with others. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in research to support the development of proposed design solutions and developing knowledge of state and local building codes, life safety codes, and other ordinances. Requirements and Qualifications • A degree in interior design or architecture. • Basic knowledge of production software. • Solid oral and written communications skills. • The ability to effectively interact with and build relationships with others.
