This role involves collaborating with designers, vendors, and clients to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality products that align with project requirements and company standards. Key Responsibilities: • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to source appropriate furnishings and materials. • Procurement Process: Oversee the entire procurement cycle, including issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and coordinating installations. • Budget Management: Work closely with the design team to adhere to project budgets, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions. • Quality Assurance: Ensure all procured items meet the company's quality standards and project specifications. • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier agreements, and inventory. • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies in orders. • Install Coordination: Coordinate when installation should occur based on product availability & create an install plan with the installer, designer, and client. Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the interior design or furniture industry. • Skills: • Strong negotiation and communication abilities. • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Previous experience in Houzz Pro • Knowledge: Familiarity with interior design trends, materials, and furnishings.
