You have unlimited earning potential. Summary: Direct and assist customers with desirable floor covering, custom tile shower, and backsplash tile options. Achieve maximum sales, profitability, and account penetration within an assigned store by effectively helping customers find their desired products, and selling the company’s products and/or related services using interior design skills through a software-based program. Promote/sell/secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach. Maintain a very large repeat and referral customer base by offering superior customer service. Demonstrate products and services to existing/potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs. Duties: · Promote, sell, and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach. · Demonstrate products and services to existing and potential customers, assisting them in selecting products best suited to their needs. · Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned store to generate new business. · Participate in face-to-face meetings and phone calls to address customer inquiries and promote product sales. · Research sources for developing prospective customers and determining their potential. · Develop clear and effective quotations for current and prospective customers. · Prioritize and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly. · Plan and organize personal sales strategy to maximize the Return on Time Investment. · Follow-up with customers after all points of contact. · Provide management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. · Effectively navigate and utilize role related software programs. · Stay abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through pertinent literature and consultations with marketing and technical service areas. · Demonstrate the ability to perform and maintain KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and metrics. WORK ENVIRONMENT: · Work is performed inside the office on the sales floor. · Work may be performed off-site at customers location PHYSICAL DEMANDS: · Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. · Must be able to lift 50 pounds without restrictions. TRAVEL REQUIRED: · Travel may be required to customers’ home or other store locations. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: · High School Diploma or Equivalent. PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: · Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field. · 2-5 years of experience in related field. ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: · Unrestricted driver’s license. WORK AUTHORIZATIONS: Eligible to work in the United Sates
