Salary: $100,000 - $150,000
Location: Los Angeles, United States
Interior Design Lead / Head of Interiors opportunity based full-time in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, with a salary range of $100,000–$150,000. This role will lead the Los Angeles studio of an established international luxury design practice delivering exceptional residential and hospitality projects.
This position suits an accomplished Interior Design Studio Director with over a decade of experience combining creative excellence with operational leadership. You will guide a multidisciplinary team, shape the studio’s design direction and play a key role within the wider global practice. Travel across the US will be required to support client meetings and project reviews.
The Role
You will provide clear project management and creative direction across multiple concurrent luxury projects, leading the studio’s output from concept through to delivery.
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets and scope are achieved
• Manage studio resourcing and team allocation
• Uphold rigorous quality control across all design outputs
• Contribute to proposals, pitches and new business development
• Define and champion the studio’s design vision and quality benchmarks
• Lead concept development, design refinement and client presentations
• Integrate feedback from directors and clients with clarity and confidence
• Maintain awareness of emerging trends, materials and technologies
• Mentor and develop interior designers and architects within the studio
• Lead weekly resource planning and management meetings
• Champion studio culture, values and collaboration
The Candidate
• Based in Los Angeles and available to work full-time in the Beverly Hills office
• Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• 12+ years’ post-graduate experience delivering high-end residential and hospitality projects
• Experience managing the operations of a design studio
• Proven leadership of teams and complex, multi-phase projects
• Strong expertise in interior design project management and FF&E
• Excellent client communication and presentation skills
• Experience delivering luxury residential development and hotel projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Studio Spec/Studio Designer
