Key Qualifications • Proficient in AutoCAD and hand drafting for space planning • Strong understanding of architectural detailing and ability to read plans • Skilled in selecting fabrics, furniture, wallpaper, and accessories • Familiarity with paperwork, budget guidelines, and project processes • Ability to work efficiently, multitask, and collaborate within a team • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Responsibilities As a Junior Designer, you will: • Utilize hand drafting skills for space planning and CAD knowledge • Demonstrate knowledge of architectural space detailing and plan interpretation • Assist with fabric, wallpaper, and furniture selections • Independently shop and source materials for diverse projects • Ensure functional and aesthetically pleasing design spaces • Communicate effectively with vendors and sub-contractors • Collaborate with the design team on reselections and customer service issues • Assist in window treatment design and calculation Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design Additional Details This role reports to a Senior or Staff Designer and may involve other related duties as assigned.
