Interior Design Job at Red Shift in Albany

Our well-established client is currently seeking an Interior Designer to join their growing team near Albany, NY. Responsibilities of the Interior Designer will include: Responsible for managing projects through from the first client meeting to the final punch list Assess project and client needs, including space programming, timeline and budget Perform site visits and field measuring; determine and propose project solutions Receive project approvals, place product orders, provide revisions; consult on and specify products, materials, fabrics, surfaces, accessories, etc Serve as a single resource for client communications Other duties as assigned Job Requirements Qualifications of the Interior Designer: Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture, OR 5-7 years' industry experience Experience in contract interiors industry and/or the commercial interiors industry Training and proficiency in industry programs such as CET Designer, AutoCAD, Project Matrix/Project Spec, Microsoft Office Suite Confident and approachable in client-facing interactions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized and self-motivated individual Detail oriented and deadline driven Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $23/hr, DOE.
