Interior Design Internship

Kate Taylor Interiors, LTD. is a full service, high-end residential, interior design firm operating from the heart of Chicago, while servicing clients all over the country. KTI is seeking a part time intern to assist the Principal and Jr. Designers, as well as our Kate Taylor Collective Sales Manager. Kate Taylor Collective, LTD. is a curated group of brands represented directly to the trade in Chicago and Midwest. Working mostly with textiles, rugs, and wallcoverings, we strive to offer unparalleled service to the design trade, from product introduction through the entire selection, purchase, and delivery process. • START DATE: ASAP* KTI responsibilities include but are not limited to: Sample library and office organization, pickups/drop-offs, packaging and mailing, presentation and meeting preparation, client materials management, and other general office admin. KTC responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing product information and pricing to our clients, sample organization and mailings, meeting and presentation preparation, placing sample orders with vendors, and social media and email management assistance. Qualifications: Pursuing a degree in Interior Design, Marketing, Business, OR Pursuing a degree in a different field, but possessing an interest in Interior Design Exceptional organizational skills Some knowledge of social media marketing best practices Excellent writing skills and attention to detail Valid drivers license and access to a car; Knowledge of Driving Downtown Chicago required Attention to detail Collaborative spirit w/ability to work independently • *COLLEGE CREDIT IS OFFERED** • FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE – 2-3 DAYS PER WEEK* Work Remotely: NO Job Types: Part-time, Internship Pay: $15.00 per hour Benefits: • Flexible schedule Education: • Bachelor's (Preferred) Work Location: In person
