Interior Design Intern (paid)

Hartman Design Group is a 100% women-owned boutique interior design firm seeking an Interior Design Intern (on-site position, available to start immediately) to join our team of talented designers in Rockville, Maryland. The ideal candidate should have some knowledge of interior design with the desire to learn through shadowing and hands-on opportunities. • Your resume and portfolio must be included to be considered for this position. Responsibilities: • Assist with library organization (archiving and organization of samples and materials) • Fill in schedules • Conduct research • Order samples • Assist with installations • Support designers as needed • Marketing support as needed Qualifications: • Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design • Availability to start immediately • Part-time/full-time availability (40 hours max) • Experience using Revit/AutoCAD • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign) • Preferred: Previous work/internship experience in an office setting Benefits: On-site parking is paid for by Employer. • Your resume and portfolio must be included to be considered for this position.
