Job Description For over 60 years, GPD Group has been providing architectural, engineering, and planning services to clients across the United States. With a diverse team of 870+ professionals working in 14 different offices, it is our passion for our work and our commitment to our purpose that unites us. Interior Design Intern: This is not a “get coffee and file paperwork” type of intern/co‑op experience. You will be an active member of the team supporting design and documentation and a variety of other tasks that give you exposure to the business of Interior and Architectural Design, while mentoring under an experienced designer. Location: Akron, OH office. Start date: Fall 2026. Qualifications Pursuing a Bachelor's in Interiors Design Interest in K‑12 Education Design Interest in learning InDesign and Revit Interest in creative design process, from strategy and concept through design development and documentation Strong communication skills and the ability to multi‑task Must be a team player and be self‑motivated Demonstrates a willingness to learn and to support in a variety of areas Equal Opportunity Statement At GPD Group, we believe in the value of every individual.
