Interior Design Intern

C. Taylor Interiors, an established residential design firm in Greenville, SC, is accepting applications for the Summer Interior Design Internship Program. Responsibilities for this position will encompass assisting the design team in all aspects of the design process. Including: • Specifications of materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, textiles, flooring, and fixtures. • Meeting with clients, architects, sub-contractors, vendors and builders. • Maintaining logs, binders, work orders, forms and communication documents to aid in the organization of the client's project. • Working with vendors to price materials, place orders and track progress of the materials on order. • Originating and updating construction documents and drawings. • Attending on-site appointments and installations. • Developing visual graphics for presentations. • Organizing client materials and resource library. • Assisting in general business operations and office maintenance. Qualifications: • Ability to hand draw to scale. • Working knowledge of design software (i.e. AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Sketchup). • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs. • Understanding of Construction Documents. Education • Currently enrolled to earn a Degree in Interior Design or related field Job Types: Part-time, Internship Schedule: • Monday to Friday • Weekends as needed Application Question(s): • Are you currently enrolled to earn a degree in Interior Design or a related field?
