Interior Design Intern

Bettisworth North is seeking Interior Design Interns for Summer 2026 to work with our team in our Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska offices. Bettisworth North are Alaska’s Community Builders™. Our practice is rooted in balance. We help our clients create spaces and experiences that interconnect design, performance, vision, and the unique elements of life in the North. Our design solutions celebrate Alaska’s diverse places with an emphasis on sustainable, culturally responsive designs. Our interdisciplinary team are adaptive and curious people who are devoted to creating impactful design for Alaska’s communities. Joining our team requires skill, teaming, humor, a sense of adventure, and a passion for positively impacting people and communities through design. As an intern, you will have opportunity to gain knowledge and work experience as part of an integrated architecture and interiors project team. You may assist on a range of assignments while working under the direct supervision of a more senior Interior Designer. This is a paid internship opportunity. You will gain practical experience working with integrative teams, understand the design and construction process, and learn how a design firm operates.
