About this role

Description Serve as project support for a variety of design projects. Under supervision, has responsibility for duties including assisting in drawings, selection of finishes and FF&E, material boards, and prepare sketches and renderings. Requirements Essential Duties (Major Responsibilities/Activities): • Under supervision, prepares plans, elevations, renderings, and sketches. • Under supervision, selection of finishes and color material boards. • Under supervision, selection of furniture, fabric, and finishes. • Coordinate with manufacturer representatives. • Organize and maintain product library. • Assists in site surveys to obtain information and other requirements for projects. • Assists in construction administration document updates and coordination. • Assists in a variety of project-based administration duties as assigned. Nonessential Duties: • Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualification Requirements: To perform successfully in this position, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties above in a satisfactory manner. Education/Experience • A minimum of two years in a degree program, and still a current student in an interior design program is required. Language Skills • Advanced written and oral communication skills. • Ability to present project materials and information clearly and concisely. • Strong organizational skills. Other Skills • Basic knowledge of architectural and design principles and practices. • Ability in design and graphic presentation required. • Capable use of Revit, AutoCAD, and/or Sketchup is preferred. • Capable use of Adobe Products: Acrobat, In Design, and Photoshop is preferred. • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively in a team framework. • Capable use of MS Office products. • Demonstrate the use of sound discretion and judgment. • Self-motivated.
