Interior Design Intern

Interior Design Intern Location New York Job Code 105 About the Role Rockwell Group, an award winning, multi-disciplinary design firm with projects worldwide is seeking a full-time Interior Design intern for the Fall 2024 semester. Responsibilities: • Researching design materials • Creating renderings in Rhino and Photoshop • Determine program requirements and execute space planning • Assist in putting together material boxes for clients to review • General Studio duties, documentation Requirements: • Candidates should be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Interior Design program (undergraduates should have completed their second year, graduates their first year) or be a recent graduate of an Interior Design program. • Required computer skills include Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Knowledge of Sketchup, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. • Highly motivated self-starter, with an attention to detail and eager to participate in all aspects of the design process. • Enthusiasm for working on multi-disciplinary teams and ‘can do’ attitude • Should have a strong interest in hospitality interior design This is a Full Time – In Studio position. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience ranging from $18-$25 per hour. This is a good faith estimate based on the expectations as laid out in the job description.
