Interior Design Intern

Job description Cobblestone Remodeling, a leader in home remodeling for over 30 years, is looking to add a full-time PAID Interior Design Intern to our team who is passionate about residential remodeling, and who loves working with people. Our focus is Residential Remodeling, with an emphasis on Kitchens, Bathrooms, and whole home renovations for our clients... Our ideal candidate would be a self-motivated, energetic, and passionate design intern to expand our team. Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills for creative solutions to design process, problems, and detailing for construction coordination. In this position, you will be assisting the Senior Designer with pre-qualified leads/appointments along with learning the steps to preparing a design proposal. Responsibilities: · Prepare drawings for all of phases of design using Chief Architect · Assist in presenting design concepts to clients · Demonstrate proficiency for design and technical detailing · Display fundamental knowledge of finish materials and manage the warehouse deliveries · Coordinate with consultants and vendors about various products, orders, delays, etc. Assist Office Manager and Owner with various tasks as needed. Skills & Qualifications: · 1 year of experience in residential remodeling (kitchens, baths, additions, etc.) · Knowledge of 2020 Design and/or Chief Architect software for the production of presentation drawings, renderings, and contract documents · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Compensation: · Hourly position starting at $15 hour; more depending on experience and knowledge level (Note: this position may turn into a full-time salaried position
