Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Interior Design/Home Decor Assistant to support our design team. The ideal candidate will assist in the development of innovative design concepts, compelling presentations, effective home staging, and event planning, ensuring that our clients' visions are brought to life with style and precision. Key Responsibilities: • Assist designers in brainstorming and developing creative design concepts that meet client needs and preferences. • Help prepare visually appealing presentations that effectively communicate design ideas and solutions to clients. • Source and select materials, furnishings, and decor items that align with project goals and budgets. • Maintain project documentation, including mood boards, floor plans, and design specifications. • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery and installation of design elements. • Support in staging and styling spaces for client presentations, photoshoots, and real estate showings. • Assist in planning and executing home staging projects to enhance property appeal and marketability. • Help plan and coordinate events related to design projects, including client meetings, open houses, and promotional events. • Conduct market research to stay updated on the latest design trends and products. • Assist in managing client communications and scheduling appointments. • Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas to enhance project outcomes. Qualifications: • GED or High School Diploma. • Associate's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or Experience in Interior design. • Previous experience or internship in interior design, home decor, home staging, or event planning is a plus. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Passion for design and a keen eye for aesthetics. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 per week Schedule: • Monday to Friday • Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
