About the Role "> This is a vibrant teaching position in interior design, where you will have the opportunity to share your passion for design with students. The Department of Art and Design at Purdue University Fort Wayne is seeking an Assistant Professor of Practice to join our team beginning Fall 2025. "> Key Responsibilities "> The successful candidate will teach all levels of undergraduate interior design courses, participate in departmental meetings, advise students, and engage with the academic and professional communities. As a faculty member, you will be expected to develop and implement curriculum, assess student learning outcomes, and contribute to the growth and development of the program. "> Requirements "> A Master's or PhD degree in interior design or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a college or university setting. Your application should address your industry experience in interior design/architectural practice and NCIDQ certification as well as any professional practice experience, university/college teaching experience, and versatility in studio instruction from foundational to advanced level courses.
