Interior Design Faculty Position at Texas Tech University

We invite applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Practice position to join our dynamic team of faculty members in the Department of Design. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in interior design, mentoring students, and contributing to the growth and development of our program. We seek an individual with exceptional expertise in interior design, excellent teaching skills, and experience working with diverse student populations. We value candidates who have a strong commitment to teaching, research, and service. The ideal candidate will have earned a MS and/or MA in interior design or a related field and possess terminal degree qualifications. Experience in industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and SketchUp, is highly desirable. Certification from organizations like WELL AP, NKBA, AAHID, or others is also an asset.
