Interior Design Expert

Job Description: The Interior Designer will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing interior design solutions in support of the University's capital projects program. This includes space planning, move management, environmental graphics, and project support activities. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with campus partners and external vendors to deliver successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Provides interior design services for capital projects managed by the University Facilities through needs assessment, space planning, budgeting, specification, procurement, and installation. • Develops space analysis and design plans that integrate programmatic requirements to provide solutions based upon proper principles of interior design, academic pedagogy, and workspace practices. • Develops and maintains the University's campus architectural finish and FF&E standards for new construction and renovation projects. • Develops and maintains vendor relationships to assure access to current interior finish samples, FF&E product, and price information.
