About this role

INTERIOR DESIGNER Please keep in mind, application will not be considered unless you have a Minimum of 4+ years working experience and knowledge of construction and a portfolio. Please also do your due diligence and see our brand on IG and make sure our vibe is your vibe. @ALLTHETHINGSHOMEWITHMEL OVERVIEW You will have to be flexible with remote and in person schedule. Hours will range dependent on skill level and projects. You will participate in all phases of design, including but not limited to, AutoCAD drawings, space planning, finish schedules, budgeting, product specification, client presentations, and job site management. Fast pace and will have your hands in every area of All The Things Home. We are small and recently rebranded and in a new space(that you can also help with). you can't be afraid to get your hands dirty some days and take initiative. REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS · Minimum of 4+years working experience and knowledge of construction needed · High proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit required · Adobe Suite Proficiency is a plus · Google Workspace Proficiency · Microsoft 365 Proficiency · Knowledge of SketchUp preferred · Knowledge of finish schedules ·Proficient in design files is a must and Houzz is a plus ·Proficient in canva ·Asana proficient a plus ·Produce project AutoCAD drawings including: Floor plans, elevations, electrical · plans, cabinetry layout, tile plans, millwork drawings, et. · Knowledge of Furniture Design and Selection of Finishes, Furniture, and Fixtures · Prepare and deliver client presentations including: design boards, plans, elevations, and 3D renderings. · Source architectural materials · Prepare and deliver finish schedules/put together spec books · Review drawings from vendors · Attend on-site visits and provide direction to outside vendors · Keep details on meetings, task and tracking on multiple projects. Managing and having thorough knowledge of all items within client files · Serve as a primary liaison with clients, vendors, architects, builders, etc. · Maintain the design library · Assist with installs and photoshoots · Anything additional the design team needs help with · Procurement/ordering/warehousing a plus.
