Interior Design Consultant

About the position The Interior Design Consultant role involves working both in-store and in customers' homes to assist them in selecting fabrics, trims, custom window treatments, bedding, and upholstered furniture. The position requires a blend of design expertise, sales ability, and strong organizational skills to create aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces for clients. Comprehensive training is provided to equip designers with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in this role. Responsibilities • Guide customers in the selection of fabrics, trims, and custom products. , • Assist in designing and developing custom window treatments and upholstered furniture. , • Deliver exceptional sales results and maintain a positive customer experience. , • Utilize strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients. , • Manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure in a retail environment. Requirements • Proven sales ability with a track record of delivering exceptional results. , • Strong written and verbal communication skills. , • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. , • Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. , • Specialty retail experience preferred. , • Valid driver's license and auto insurance. Nice-to-haves • Experience in interior design (1 year preferred). , • Sales experience (1 year preferred).
